Council Meeting Decisions

The meeting started at 7pm in the Meeting Room at the Williams Memorial Hall, Coychurch
Attendees: Councillor E. Caporras (Chair), Councillors Randall, Brace, Sutton and Snoddy
The minutes of the previous meeting were reviewed and agreed, then signed by the Chair
The council had no objections to the following planning applications:
- P/26/7/FUL - TBD UK Ltd, Brocastle Avenue, Waterton
- P/26/11/FUL - Unit 1 Kestrel Close, Bridgend Industrial Estate
The council Objected to the planning application P/25/725/FUL - Land south of Waterton Lane
The council agreed to meet with a representative from the Coalfields Regeneration to further progress the new business plan for the community asset transfer of the Coychurch Community Field.
The council decided to donate a container to the Williams Memorial Hall to ease the pressure on the council office by providing external storage to replace the dilapidated container to the rear of the building.
Council agreed the new IT Policy which will be posted on the website.
Council reviewed and agreed the schedule of payments and receipts for January 2026.
- Receipts (bank interest) - £40.66
- Payments - £3,901.29 (includes final season payments for village maintenance, winter planting, deposit for zip wire renewal, training course for one councillor and the clerk re play park inspections)
The next meeting was scheduled for 10th March 2026 at 7pm in the Meeting Room at the Williams Memorial Hall
