Council Meeting Decisions

Coychurch Lower Community Council meeting at 7pm on 13th January 2026 in the meeting room in the Williams Memorial Hall, Coychurch.

All Council Member were present: Cllr Caparros (Chair). Cllr Randall, Cllr Brace, Cllr Sutton, Cllr Snoddy, and Cllr Dickinson.

DECISIONS: 

Planning Application No: P/25/773/FUL location: 5 Grange Crescent. Council Decision: No Objections

Planning Application No: P/25/629/FUL Location: D18 Coity Crescent Bridgend Industrial Estate. Council Decision: No Objections

Meeting agreed between community council members and Bridgend CBC community asset transfer officer for 30 January 2026.

Council agreed payment of £1299 + vat for the maintenance works on the zip wire in the play park. 

Council agreed to include the gate and ramp access only into the Play Park from Main Road, in the Community Asset Transfer for the Play Park.

Council agreed a donation of £100 to the Pencoed Silver Band in appreciation of their contribution to the community carol service.

The Schedule of Payments and Receipts for December 2025 was received and agreed by the members. Payments totalled £2779.26 (which inclulded the payment for solar powered Christmas trees in Waterton Close) and the bank interest received was £38.11.

The all-accounts bank reconciliation for the 3rd quarter of the financial year was presented, reviewed and agreed as accurate by the member.

The next meeting will be at 7pm on 10th February 2026 in the meeting room at the Williams Memorial Hall, Coychurch.
