PLATINUM JUBILEE BEACON LIGHTING

The Coychurch Community Council would like to thank  the following for contributing to making this event a success:

• Jayne James, Deputy Lord Lieutenant for Mid Glamorgan who represented Her Majesty the Queen and presented 'Certificates of Thanks' to Miss L Archard and the Coed y Mwstwr Golf Club
• Miss L. Archard who won the competition to be the child to light the beacon and confidently performed the task
• Coed y Mwstwr Golf Club for hosting the event
• the 250-plus adults and children who attended, creating a friendly atmosphere which was enjoyed by all.
